Announcing the Logto Cloud Japan region
Logto Cloud now supports a new region in Japan, offering low-latency access and local data residency compliance for users in the Asia-Pacific region.

Today, we're excited to announce the launch of the long-awaited Japan region for Logto Cloud! This new region is now generally available, and you can start using it immediately when creating a new Logto Cloud tenant.
Why a Japan region?
Logto Cloud is a global service, and we’re committed to delivering the best possible experience for our users worldwide. The Japan region is built to support customers in the Asia-Pacific area by providing:
- Low-latency access to Logto Cloud services
- Compliance with local data residency requirements
As with all other Logto Cloud regions, the Japan region comes fully equipped with the same features, capabilities, and enterprise-grade security standards.
How to create a tenant in the Japan region
For new users
- Sign up for a new Logto Cloud account.
- During onboarding, you’ll be prompted to create a new tenant. Simply choose “Japan” as your desired region.
For existing users
To create a new tenant in the Japan region:
- Visit the Logto Cloud Console.
- In the top navigation bar, click your current tenant name (left side).
- From the dropdown, select Create tenant.
- In the dialog that appears, select Japan as the data region.

- West US (Arizona)
- Australia (Australia East)
- Japan (Japan East)
